Move That Dough has been taking it easy blog-wise these past two weeks, and we’ve been mostly working on limited special orders and maintaining our goods over at Central Coffee on weekends. Why? We’ve been focusing our energy on the truck so we can have a home space, finally.
Franny the Food Truck has officially been dropped off to the trusted and skilled hands of Southside Rides Foundation. Dave founded Southside after his life changed through technical college and applying his love for mechanics. Southside aims to show that every person is capable of being a contributing member of society, they teach skills and provide mentorship along the way. We are happy to represent Southside in Charlotte with hopes that their Charlotte location will come to be!
Kacie can’t stop daydreaming about the next steps for Franny and reflecting with gratitude every day for the friends who have stood by her for the journey thus far. Through the extremes of building a business that personifies a lot of your heart and intention through a very strange route, the joys and the terrifying moments, the laughs, tears and miles driven. “I am blessed,” says Kacie.
Girls Rock Charlotte Update
The Move That Dough team raised over $300 in donut donations for Girls Rock Charlotte, in addition to those of you who gave online. (Thank you! We see you!) The goal was $5,000, and we’ll tell you what – these girls are loved, and that goal has been met!
