Two Chances to See Move That Dough on April 16

vegan desserts from Move That Dough Baking CoIf you’re looking for something to do this weekend, and meeting the Move That Dough Baking Co team has made the short list of possibilities, you’ll have two chances to do just that on Saturday, April 16th!

The first chance will be at the Lupus Walk at the King’s Green at Central Piedmont Community (1201 Elizabeth Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28204). Check in starts at 3:00pm, and the walk starts at 5:00pm. We’ll be there with our family from Central Coffee. (They’re donating cold brew.) We’ll have vegan desserts like black bean flourless brownies, krisp rice treats, and a variety of donuts like our blueberry lemon and chocolate peanut butter!

If that’s not your jam, come out to the Art Show & Market at Pint Central, located at 1226 Central Avenue. Peruse some amazing art – maybe even buy some – while drinking some awesome beer and chowing down on a variety of our delicious vegan desserts. The event starts at 8pm.

Hope we’ll see you at one or both events this Saturday!

AERIAL CLT Features Move That Dough Baking Co on Friday April 15

black bean brownies from Move That Dough Baking Co Featured @ AERIAL CLTWhen I was working those sweet, painful, precious and important and hard and confusing early morning hours at my beloved home base of Central Coffee Co., I started noticing these super babes…

Their colorful outfits and hair and their strong muscle structures and vibrant smiles…

The looked positive and the looked like they FELT positive. It made me want to know more about them.

If this isn’t exactly the type of “marketing” that works…it’s not even marketing.  They live their craft, passion, niche, careers in such a way that they represent it well from the start.

These are the women whom I have now come to know as the crew over at Aerial CLT.

They are doing an amazing thing this Friday starting at 6:30 and have asked us to come have some treats available!

As AERIAL CLT features Move That Dough Baking Co, we are going to whip up some of our FLOURLESS black bean brownies – yes! Packed with protein, minimal sugar, as just pure maple is used to sweeten…with flax instead of eggs, you’re not only getting NO CHOLESTEROL, but you’re getting tons of fiber…which your body DOES need!

We will also have a variety of our vegan donuts and some fun baked goods that we dream up throughout the week….come with your sweet tooth ready!

We have asked Maya at Dreamy Leaf to come share some of her amazing Granola Cup Tarts and healthy, vegan parfaits, too!  She uses NO OIL, they are made without any gluten-I’ve tried her pecan pie tart, her mocha parfait, tons of fresh berries to put on top for some naturally occurring sugar?  Yes, please!

Read more details below, with a list of vendors, details on the complimentary BEER AND WINE…and what all of this is REALLY aiming to tell you about… Turning Point NC

From the women of Arial CLT <3

“Turning Point exists to end domestic abuse, sexual assault, and child abuse through safe shelter, advocacy, prevention, and social change. We are honored to adopt Turning Point as our Spring Charity and hope you will join us in embracing them with love and support.

Please join us for our kick-off party. We will have some amazing vendors for you, treats, and a raffle! Beer and wine is on us. All donations go to Turning Point.”
